Automatic crate loader

The machine is composed of the following units:

  • Layer pattern formation group
  • Layer pattern transfer group
  • Braking device composed of sprung rubber plugs to avoid any damage to food containers. Pneumatic device driven plug-holder bar. Food containers are stopped on a stainless steel fixed plate placed between the synthetic resin chain conveyor for accumulation and the synthetic resin chain conveyor for food container layer formation.
  • A pneumatically driven foldaway retractile tin sheet transfers food containers from formation synthetic resin conveyor to the crate. A photocell control system checks correct level of layer transfer.
  • Crate handling group.
  • Pneumatic driven crate stopping and centering unit.
  • Scissor lift to raise the movable bottom of the crate. Frame, arms, top and bottom plate are painted steel.
  • Deck top is built with 304 stainless steel. Hydraulic driven arm lifting and lowering: a painted cylinder and a painted gear case provide oil supply in pressure.

Automatic crate unloader.

The machine is composed of the following units:

 

  • Layer pattern unloading group.
  • Synthetic resin chain conveyor for accumulation of an unloaded layer of food containers. It is equipped of 304 SS frame and guides, adjustable sides, photocell control system for can/jar detection. The length of the conveyor belt is designed to guarantee continuous food container unloading even in case of stops due to packaging department failures (label lack, cardboard lack, change of the spool in the wrapping machine, etc.).

Push-bar unloading layer system composed of:

  • Push-bar with plastic covering to prevent food container damage;
  • Push-bar transferring system from layer pushing position to return bar position;
  • Pneumatic driven layer pad holding device to stop layer pad on crate top.
  • Crate handling group.
  • Pneumatic driven crate stopping and centering unit.
  • Scissor lift to raise the movable bottom of the crate. Frame, arms, top and bottom plate are painted steel. Deck top is 304 stainless steel. Hydraulic driven arm lifting and lowering: a painted cylinder and a painted gear case provide oil supply in pressure.

Automatic layer pad placing and removing system

  • Layer pad picking and placing unit
  • Layer warehouse at constant height
  • 304 stainless steel frame.
  • Hydraulic lifting system for layer warehouse adjustment.
  • Photocell sensor detects layer warehouse and cylinder operation.

Electric control board

  • Control unit based on PLC Siemens S7.
  • LCD screen interface, placed on the machine, with the capacity to control, check, and auto-diagnose alarms. Unit can be switched on manual in order to handle every single movement individually. When an alarm goes off interface gives information about alarm type either if it can be solved in auto-diagnosis or if it requires operator’s intervention.
  • Local emergency buttons, where necessary, as per electric material positioning layout, placed in stainless steel boxes.
