High-speed PET beer filling plant

When speed meets precision

In the beverage industry, increasing production capacity requires increasingly high-performance technologies capable of guaranteeing high quality standards even under the most demanding operating conditions.

To meet these needs, we have developed one of our most advanced solutions in the field of high-speed PET beer filling.

The project was developed to handle a complex product such as sorghum beer in South Africa, which is characterized by its dense consistency and high presence of sediments and suspended particles.

This challenge led us to achieve an important technological milestone through the adoption of the Master RS triblock, equipped with 110 filling valves: the highest number ever implemented by us on this type of machine.

The technological challenge: 20,000 bottles per hour of pure precision

At the heart of the PET beer filling plant is a solution designed to achieve a production capacity of 20,000 bottles per hour in the 1.25-liter PET format.

The objective was not only to increase speed, but also to ensure operational continuity, filling accuracy and reliability throughout the entire production process.

To achieve this result, we focused on a high-performance configuration capable of optimizing every stage of the line.

The presence of 110 filling valves makes it possible to distribute the filling process extremely efficiently, reducing cycle times and maximizing productivity without compromising final quality.

A complete PET beer filling line

The PET beer filling plant does not stop at the filling stage. Our supply includes a complete line designed to ensure production continuity and high efficiency.

Among the main components of the plant:

  • rotary blow molder for in-line PET bottle production;
  • 25,000 l/h flash pasteurization system developed with Co.Mac;
  • in-line carbonation system;
  • automatic labeling machine;
  • dual-lane shrink wrapper;
  • automatic palletizer.

The complete integration of the various technologies makes it possible to maintain high productivity levels and minimize operational inefficiencies throughout the beer filling and packaging process.

To ensure perfect integration, we used 3D scanning of the existing factory to design a layout that would fit with millimetric precision into a pre-existing and complex structure.

The presence of a local partner agency guaranteed the customer prompt installation and service, managed by local teams supported by our engineers in Parma.

3. Digitalization

The line is monitored by the Illuminate system, our Line Data Management System, which provides real-time dashboards with key production performance indicators, alarms and operational data.

This enables constant monitoring and complete control of the production line, improving efficiency, traceability and the ability to intervene promptly.
